大阪府堺市との協業で始まった、アップサイクルプロジェクト

このシリーズは、堺市消防局より耐用年数を超え、廃棄される予定であったホースを生まれ変えられないか、というところからスタートしました。

消防ホース × 本革

耐用年数を超えた消防ホース、まだまだキレイな外見をしています。

ホースは約2ミリと肉厚で内側はゴム素材、外側は耐熱性に優れた素材を使用しています。

規定からは外れてしまっていますが材料としての価値は十分にあると考えました。

丈夫な消防ホースだからこそ、中に入れた物をしっかりと守ることができるということが判り、バッグに最適ではないかと考え構想を練りました。

コンビ材料に本革を使うことにより、見た目や手触りなど、バッグとしての価値が上がります。
また、この革はウォッシャブルレザーなので水濡れにも強いところがポイントになっています。

・ホースの幅を生かしたサイズ感で使いやすい物。

そして最も大事なポイントは、
・ファッションの邪魔をしないスタイリッシュさ。

これらを全てをクリアしたアイテムが出来上がりました。

A simple vertical smartphone pouch

The bag is made primarily from supple washable leather , and disassembled fire hose parts are used to accent the design, running from the body to the bottom.

The pockets are either snap-and-eye or open, allowing you to easily take your smartphone in and out with just one action.

The shoulder strap is a round leather strap that can be shortened by adjusting the knot position.

Original A rivet engraved with jidai has been attached.
