An upcycling project launched in collaboration with Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture

This series began with the idea of giving new life to hoses that had exceeded their useful life and were scheduled to be discarded by the Sakai City Fire Department.

Fire hose x genuine leather

The fire hose has exceeded its useful life, but it still looks beautiful.

The hose is approximately 2mm thick, with a rubber interior and a heat-resistant exterior.

Although it does not comply with regulations, we believe it still has sufficient value as a material.

We realized that the durable nature of fire hoses means they can effectively protect the contents inside, and we came up with the idea that they would be ideal for bags.

By using genuine leather as a combination material, the value of the bag increases in terms of appearance and feel.
Another key point is that this leather is washable, making it resistant to water.

- Easy to use with a size that takes advantage of the width of the hose.

And the most important point is,
-Stylish without interfering with your fashion.

We have created an item that meets all of these criteria.

A simple vertical smartphone pouch

The bag is made primarily from supple washable leather , and disassembled fire hose parts are used to accent the design, running from the body to the bottom.

The pockets are either snap-and-eye or open, allowing you to easily take your smartphone in and out with just one action.

The shoulder strap is a round leather strap that can be shortened by adjusting the knot position.

Original A rivet engraved with jidai has been attached.
