Ordinary but unusual
Introducing a series using canvas.
Before that, we often see and hear names like canvas and sailcloth, but let's take a deeper look at what kind of material they are.
What is canvas fabric?

A versatile material used for a wide range of items, from oil painting boards and sails on sailing ships to sashes, tents and fashion items, this fabric is woven from thick cotton yarn.
Kurashiki is famous for its canvas production in Japan, perhaps because it is an area with abundant cotton and abundant water resources.
The thickness is measured in units of 1 to 11, and the lower the number, the thicker the material.
Canvas tote bags originated in the United States in the early 1900s and were used to carry items such as tools and ice.
These were essentially bags for commercial use, but due to their durability and low cost, they gradually became popular as outdoor goods and have since evolved into fashion items.
Three features of Havito's canvas bag "Skog"

Available in two colors: blue and khaki
Made with Kurashiki No. 8 canvas and bio-washed.
The fabric is processed using an enzyme called cellularase, which essentially causes microorganisms to break down the cotton fabric. This gives the tightly woven, stiff canvas a three-dimensional appearance and makes it slightly lighter in weight.
This processing creates a moderate vintage feel, giving it an antique atmosphere that matches the world view of havito.
A perfect combination of canvas and tanned leather
The combination leather of the bio-washed canvas introduced earlier is tanned.
Waji's original leather "Wajinume"
Domestic and North American cowhide tanned with vegetable tannins, with as little surface treatment as possible.
The reason we use two types of raw leather is because we take into consideration the thickness and flexibility to suit the characteristics of the bag.
"Wajinume" is treated with a special stain-resistant finish (weak water-repellent) to reduce the initial scratches and stains that can occur due to the delicate nature of tanned leather.
This effect is not permanent and will fade with use, allowing you to fully enjoy the aging process that is one of the joys of vegetable tanned leather.
The vintage-looking canvas and the tanned leather that changes color over time are a perfect match.
A classic design with a twist
Ordinary but unusual
The design of the skog series may seem ordinary at first glance, but it has its own unique features.
While trunk-style designs are generally large, we deliberately made the shoulder bag mini-sized, and the other style is in the form of a backpack.
We offer bi-fold wallets made from canvas, which are not often seen in small items. They have a bag-like design with buckles and leather corners. All of them have a classic feel.
Havito Collection Skog Series Canvas Bag
Bio Canvas Trunk Mini Shoulder Bag
We have kept the classic trunk design intact and created a mini-sized shoulder bag.Now that cashless payments have become more common, wallets have become smaller, and we carry less luggage, it has become possible to go out in as light a style as possible.
It can also be used as a sub-bag.
Biowash canvas trunk backpack
The look is a classic trunk but in a backpack form. There is a large pocket on the front with a natural leather flap.
There is a convenient zipper pocket on the back, and it can also be attached to the carry bar of a suitcase.
The shoulder strap is removable, making it a 3-way bag that can also be used as a handbag.
Biowash canvas bi-fold mini wallet
Biowash canvas was also used for the wallet.
The design is modeled after a trunk and can be securely fastened with a belt that has a buckle.
It's also stylish to match items from the same series.
This time we introduced Havito's Bio Wash Canvas!
