January 24, 2024 | Waji tennis tote bag featured on TV Tokyo's "Danshikohan"

A tote bag made from prototype tennis ball material was featured on "Danshikouhan"

Waji's original tennis tote bag appeared on TV Tokyo's "Danshikouhan," which aired on Sunday, January 21, 2024.

"Danshikouhan" is a heartwarming cooking show that airs on Sunday afternoons and features two men of the same generation, Taichi Kokubun and Shinpei Kurihara.

In the episode aired on January 21st, a quiz was asked about what upcycled* goods, which are made by reusing items that would otherwise have been made, are made from, and waji products were featured.

*Upcycling is the process of giving new life to items that would otherwise be thrown away by adding new value through design or ideas, turning them into new products.
